Solutions
Specializing in high-quality flexographic and digital printing, our Durban site caters to a diverse range of markets. We excel in producing pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, wrap-arounds labels, self-adhesive labels, booklet labels, and food-grade lidding. We also provide anti-counterfeiting solutions such as QR codes, Scribos technology and numbering.
Sustainable solutions
As part of our STAR portfolio, we offer two sustainable solutions:
- STARWASH ™ A pressure-sensitive label for returnable glass bottles. Suitable in the existing infrastructure - the complete label is detached from the bottle in the hot wash cleaning process with no contamination of the water, enabling the bottles to be reusable.
- STARFLOAT ™ A floatable shrink sleeve supports PET bottle recycling by separating easily from the PET bottle flakes due to density difference during the sink and float process. Through the concept of mono-material approach, the label can be recycled together with HDPE/PP containers.
Eco-friendly building
Our Durban plant, equipped with photovoltaic panels, adheres to the highest standards of environmental sustainability and has been awarded a 4-star rating by the Green Building Council of South Africa.
